[18 February 2016] – Today, WCLAC submitted a summary report with the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, Mr. Makarim Wibisono. The report covers some of the main conflict related-issues affecting women and documented by WCLAC in 2015.
|Night raids on Palestinian homes: follow-up submission to the UN|
On 11 November 2015, WCLAC lodged a follow up submission with the UN concerning the widespread and systematic use of night raids by the Israeli military on Palestinian family homes in the West Bank. The submission details the link between night raids and the maintenance of Israel’s settlement project in occupied territory and is based on 19 testimonies collected in October 2015.

On 2 September 2015, WCLAC lodged a submission with two UN Special Rapporteurs providing an update on the situation on the ground relating to the impact of settler violence on women in the West Bank. The submission also highlights the link between the settlements and night raids conducted by the Israeli military on Palestinian homes.

On 26 June 2015, WCLAC lodged a submission with the UN concerning the widespread and systematic use of night raids by the Israeli military on Palestinian family homes in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The submission details the devastating impact that repeated night raids have on affected communities and is supported by 100 testimonies.
